A few weeks ago, this tree had bright yellow berries on it, very striking against the blue windows and the grey landscape. I made a note to go back with my camera soon before they were gone. After this week's blizzard, I managed to be walking by with my camera, and all the berries had turned scarlet, making a striking contrast with the heavy white snow.

Snowy winter
It's been snowing and raining and icing and sleeting and thawing and freezing and thawing and freezing, rinse lather and repeat. Quite the nippy winter - we New Englanders have been spoiled these past few winters. We're remembering what winter used to be like, that's for sure!
