The wonderful thing about photography is it can make you look at your surroundings with a new eye. Things that seem everyday can take on new interest, where what was there before was boring, familiar, and dull. Capturing the light on something, even as mundane and unwanted as dust motes, can be beautiful when caught on camera. The small, the familiar, and the everyday all have beauty in them. It only takes the eye to see them.
